This type of abortion, the abortion pill, requires you to have a follow-up appointment 10-14 days after your abortion to ensure the process is complete and there were no complications.
The abortion pill is extremely safe and effective. In almost all cases, it eliminates the need for a surgical procedure. Whenever surgery is involved in any medical care, the possibility of complications are increased. By taking the abortion pill early enough in your pregnancy, you can avoid surgery and the potential complications it brings. The abortion pill, when taken at the correct time, is just as effective as a surgical abortion.
