Scope of Services:

Our program brings together a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and staff experienced in managing complex pregnancies and providing safe, compassionate abortion care. We work closely with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, genetic counselors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both the medical and emotional aspects of the patient’s experience. Our Medical Director can authorize continued care with the referring physician following feticide administration.

We also collaborate with universities for genetic analysis, and with prior arrangements, tissue may be available to aid in the research of the vast number of unique anomalies that we encounter at CARE Clinics – Maryland.

Supporting Providers and Patients:

Our mission is to ensure that patients have access to accurate information, unwavering support, and care options that align with their values. We are committed to maintaining high standards of care and providing comprehensive resources for both patients and providers. Our program supports the ongoing education and training of our staff, ensuring that they have the tools and knowledge to provide the best possible care. If the patient wishes, we provide privacy for those who choose to have a viewing, along with memorial boxes containing footprint cards and mortuary services upon request.

Conclusion:

By partnering with us, you can ensure that your patients receive the specialized care they need during a vulnerable time. Together, we can uphold our shared values of empathy, integrity, and professionalism, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
